It’s that time of the year… our Nation’s capital turns pink as the cherry blossoms bloom across the city. \u00a0Many restaurants, hotels, and bars create their unique version of a cherry blossom dish or cocktail. \u00a0Spring arrived early to Washington, DC and my friend Ashley\u00a0and I decided to check out the cherry blossom cocktail at the Melrose Georgetown Hotel The Lounge Bar. \u00a0When we got our Blossomtinis<\/em>, we were both in agreement that that was one of the most beautiful cocktails we’ve had. \u00a0When we tasted it, we were both taken by how good it was.\u00a0It’s a bit on the sweet side for my palate so I will stop at one, but it is a great aperitif or even a beautiful way to end the evening.<\/p>\n Millian Palma, the manager at\u00a0Melrose Georgetown Hotel The Lounge Bar was gracious enough to share his cherry blossom cocktail\u00a0recipe with us. \u00a0Even if you live miles away from Washington, DC, you can bring a bit of the cherry blossom spirit to your party.<\/p>\n<\/a>
